Find your place
We start with your ambitions, preferred location and budget. Then we source potential land and coordinate site assessments and acquisition support.
Forest sourcing & woodland creation
Your own
piece of Ireland.
A future for nature.
We help people and businesses find land, create native woodland and bring habitats back to life. You bring the vision. We take care of the journey.
A living legacy
Own something
that grows
beyond you.
Imagine a place in Ireland that is yours to care for. A woodland taking root. Birds returning. Habitats becoming richer with every season.
Whether you’re creating a family legacy, reconnecting with Ireland or giving your business a lasting connection to nature, we make the practical side easier.
From the first land search to the first native trees, Cloudforests brings the people, planning and care together around your project.
One vision. A guided journey.
You dream it.
We help make it grow.
A clear path from an idea to a woodland, with support at every stage.
Make the plan
We bring together the right forestry and ecological expertise, coordinate necessary permissions and help prepare eligible grant applications.
Bring it to life
A plan shaped by the land. Native tree planting, habitat restoration and protection of existing natural features, with works coordinated for you.
Care for its future
We can arrange ongoing care, establishment checks and progress updates, so you stay connected as your woodland develops.
Each project begins with a suitability assessment. Permissions, grants and planting plans depend on the site, applicant eligibility and approval. Scope, costs and ongoing care are agreed before work begins.
A beacon of biodiversity
A woodland.
And a whole
world within it.
Creating space for nature means looking beyond the trees. We help shape a connected landscape that gives native wildlife room to thrive.
Native trees
A species mix suited to the soil, landscape and local ecology.
Living habitats
Care for hedgerows, woodland edges, open spaces and existing habitats.
Room for wildlife
A project designed around the birds, pollinators and other wildlife the site can support.
A lasting connection
A place to follow through the seasons, with care and updates tailored to your project.
Nature connected
Your woodland.
Closer than ever.
You don’t have to be there to feel connected. We can bring Cloudforests technology to your site, helping you see your woodland grow, hear its wildlife and follow the story through the seasons.
A window into your woodland.
Live cameras and time-lapse can bring your landscape to your phone, office or home. Share virtual visits with family, colleagues and the people who are part of your woodland’s story.
Take a virtual forest visit ↗Hear nature coming to life.
Acoustic sensors can record birdsong and help identify the species being heard around your site. Discover the dawn chorus and build a listening record as your woodland develops.
Explore our bird sound gallery ↗Follow your woodland’s visitors.
Bird analytics can turn sound detections into an evolving species record, showing activity patterns and seasonal arrivals. A fascinating way to explore what is being heard over time.
Explore Cloudforest One bird analytics ↗Technology is an optional part of your woodland plan, tailored to site conditions, connectivity, power and budget. Acoustic detections are indicators of bird activity, rather than a complete biodiversity survey; automated identifications may need review.

Every woodland
starts with
a conversation.
What if I already own land?
We can start with the land you have. Tell us its location, approximate size and what you hope to achieve. The next step is to assess its suitability for woodland creation or habitat restoration.
Do I need forestry experience?
No. Our role is to help you understand the options and coordinate the practical work with the relevant specialists, from the initial assessment through to creation and care.
How much land or budget do I need?
There is no single answer. Land cost, location, access, site conditions and the work required all affect a project. Share an indicative budget and we can explore what may be realistic before you commit.
Can you help with permissions and grants?
Yes. We help coordinate the relevant applications and specialist input. Availability and eligibility are assessed for each project; funding and permissions are subject to approval.
Can you look after the woodland for me?
Ongoing care can form part of your agreed service, including establishment checks, maintenance coordination and updates. We will set out the scope and costs with you at the planning stage.
